What Devi is

Devi is an AI-assisted educational guide to Hindu spirituality, scriptures, festivals, sacred places and pilgrimage. It is not a Guru, priest, astrologer, doctor, lawyer or financial adviser, and its answers are not religious rulings or professional advice.

Accuracy

We work to keep content accurate and cite sources where we can, but AI answers can contain mistakes, and traditions vary by region and lineage. Temple timings, darshan rules, registration requirements, fees, weather and travel conditions change. Always confirm with the official temple, shrine board or government source before you travel or act.

Travel and safety

Yatra plans are suggestions only. You are responsible for your own travel decisions, health, safety, bookings and permits. Booking links open third-party sites; we are not responsible for their services or prices.

Your account

Keep your login details private and give accurate information. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Acceptable use

• Use the app respectfully and lawfully.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape or break the security of the service.
• Do not use the app to create hateful or disrespectful content about any faith or community.

Content and copyright

The app's design, text and voice are owned by VCVX Inc. or its licensors. Scripture texts in the library are public-domain or openly licensed works, credited to their translators and sources. Some Hindi translations are AI-generated and labelled as such.

Donations

The donate link takes you to The Aum Foundation's website. Donations are handled there under their own terms.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, VCVX Inc. is not liable for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the app or its content.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
