Privacy Policy

Devi Dharma is published by VCVX Inc.. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

• Account details if you sign up: name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), and optionally phone, country, state, city and preferred language.
• Questions you ask Devi and the yatra plans you request, so we can answer them. Signed-in users can see their past conversations and saved items.
• Feedback you choose to send us.
• Email address you enter when you ask us to email you a yatra plan.

Information stored on your device

The app stores small settings in your browser (for example your chosen language, music on/off and navigation history for the Back button) and a sign-in cookie if you log in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.

Voice features

When you tap the microphone, speech is converted to text by your browser or phone's built-in speech service. When Devi reads an answer aloud, the answer text is sent to our voice provider (ElevenLabs) to create the audio. We do not record or store your voice.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the app: Abacus.AI for hosting, database and AI answers, ElevenLabs for Devi's voice, and an email service to send plans you request. They process data only to provide these services. Links to booking sites, maps and flight searches open those third-party sites, which have their own privacy policies.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and personalise language and location-based guidance.
• To keep your account, saved items and conversation history.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To improve the accuracy and quality of Devi's guidance.

Your choices

You can update your profile at any time from the Profile page. You can ask us to delete your account and data, or ask what information we hold about you, by contacting us below.

Children

Devi Dharma is a general-audience educational resource. Accounts are not intended for children under 13.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access to data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
