Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to learn with Devi, whatever their ability, device or language. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

What we provide

• Voice input: ask Devi by speaking instead of typing.
• Listen: answers and scripture passages can be read aloud.
• 16 languages for asking and listening.
• Readable contrast, scalable text, keyboard-reachable controls and descriptive image text.
• Background music can be switched off at any time, and pauses automatically while Devi speaks.

Known limitations

Voice input depends on your browser's speech support and may not work in every browser. Some older scripture texts come from digitised sources and may contain spelling errors.
